Oyster extract

Also known as Oyster peptide / marine zinc source
CEVIDENCE

The zinc arrives by sea.

The honest take
The oyster's reputation is two thousand years old and its actual case is simpler: it is the best dietary source of zinc, and zinc matters. That is worth saying clearly, because it separates the defensible part from the folklore. What we cannot tell you is that oyster peptides do something zinc does not; that research is early. And the practical note that matters most is on the label rather than in the literature — this contains shellfish, and if you are allergic, that is the end of the conversation.
What it is
Concentrated oyster meat, dried and milled or hydrolysed into peptides — the most zinc-dense food there is, sold as a supplement ingredient.
How it works
Oysters concentrate zinc from seawater to a degree no other food matches. Zinc is genuinely required for normal testosterone metabolism, immune function and taste — so an oyster extract is a legitimate way to deliver a mineral that does real work. The peptides are a more speculative story.
What it does
Supplies zinc and marine peptides. It is in DRIVE and PRIME as a food-derived mineral source with a long cultural history.
Who it's for
Men who want a food-derived zinc source. Not for anyone with a shellfish allergy, at any dose.
How to use it
Daily inside DRIVE's strip or PRIME's blend. If you take a separate zinc supplement, count this towards your total.
What to expect
Whatever adequate zinc does, which for most people who already eat well is nothing perceptible. Correcting a real deficiency is a different matter.
The research
Grade C for oyster-specific effects; the zinc content is the evidenced part and is covered in the zinc monograph. PRIME already carries 50 mg of supplemental zinc, above the 40 mg daily upper limit, so the oyster extract's contribution is a reason not to add a third source.

Read the labelContains shellfish. Not an aphrodisiac claim and not a treatment for anything. Not for anyone with a shellfish allergy.

Evidence grades describe how well an ingredient is studied — A well-supported, C emerging — not a promise of results. Educational, not medical advice. Doses are typical ranges; follow the label on the product.
