01

The brief

Some men train to feel virtuous. You train to look like the payoff, and you'd like to arrive at the session already full rather than spending twenty minutes getting there. PUMP is the pre-training scoop that doesn't come with a stimulant attached.

02

Why

The pump is the point and there is no reason to be coy about it. Beetroot supplies dietary nitrate, the precursor behind nitric-oxide physiology and blood flow — the mechanism that gets more blood into working muscle. 1,375 mg of it, with hibiscus at 1,000 mg. No caffeine, so it works at 6 a.m. or 9 p.m. Built for the session where the mirror is part of the equipment.

03

What it actually does

Beetroot before training for the blood-flow side of the workout — without caffeine. 1,375 mg, with hibiscus and apple.

How to use it

DailyBefore training

One scoop in water, 30–60 minutes before training — or with breakfast on a rest day. Caffeine-free, so the timing is yours. Don't take it on the same day as IGNITE, which already contains arginine.

A man in a grey tank top sitting on the edge of a bed, city skyline through the window behind him.
A man in a navy tank top walking a city street in daylight, streetcar passing behind him.
A man in a grey tank top standing in a doorway, talking to someone out of frame.
A man in a white tank top on a wet street at night, bar lights behind him.

The long version

The best pre-workout on the shelf is a root vegetable, and the industry would rather you didn't dwell on that. No neon tub, no warning label like a car alarm — beetroot, at 1,375 mg, with hibiscus and apple behind it.

The mechanism is real: beetroot supplies dietary nitrate, the precursor your body runs through nitric-oxide physiology — the blood-flow side of the workout, the part that fills a sleeve. No caffeine anywhere in it, so the 6 a.m. session and the 9 p.m. session cost you the same: nothing.

One scoop in water, 30–60 minutes before training. Fair warnings from the vegetable itself: it can turn urine pink — harmless, startling exactly once — and it's high in oxalates, so kidney-stone history or blood-pressure medication means a doctor first.

FLOW works the same territory daily by the amino-acid route; IGNITE is the loud alternative, not a partner.

A vegetable walks into a gym. Everyone notices your arms.

Q&A

When do I take it — and does timing matter without caffeine?

Take it on the way to the gym, not at the rack — the label's lead time is 30 to 60 minutes. There's no stimulant in it, so a late session doesn't cost you sleep; on a rest day the label puts it with breakfast.

Can I use it with IGNITE?

Not on the same day. There's no arginine in PUMP — it works through beetroot nitrates — but IGNITE is already a complete pre-workout pushing the same endpoint from the arginine side. One pre-workout per day; pick by the session.

Why is my pee pink after taking it?

Beeturia — a harmless side effect of beetroot pigment that shows up in a noticeable minority of people. It looks dramatic and means nothing.

Can a caffeine-free pre-workout actually do anything?

Different mechanism, not a weaker one. Beetroot's nitrates support blood flow — the pump-and-endurance lane — rather than stimulation. If you want caffeine too, that's IGNITE (on its own day).

Where is it made?

In the USA — the manufacturer's country of record for this product. (No supplement anywhere is 'FDA-approved'; the oversight lives at the facility level, and that's where this one is made.)

08

Safety and warnings

Beetroot can turn urine or stool pink or red — harmless and expected. Not for anyone under 18, pregnant or nursing. Speak to a doctor before use if you take blood-pressure or nitrate medication, or have a history of kidney stones — beetroot is high in oxalates.
