POLISH

Smooth it. Don't sand it off.

01

The brief

Ground coffee, brown sugar and sea salt in coconut and castor oils. Work it over glutes, thighs, legs — anywhere texture collects — and rinse. Skin polishes smooth and takes moisture (and sun, and spray tan) more evenly. The prep step everyone skips, visible on everyone who doesn't.

02

Why

Rough skin is still rough in the dark. Texture collects where you don't look — glutes, thighs, the backs of the legs — and it is the difference between a body that reads maintained and one that only works from across the room. POLISH is ground coffee, brown sugar and sea salt in coconut and castor oil. Two or three times a week, not daily: skin that has been scrubbed raw looks worse than skin that was left alone.

03

What it actually does

Peppermint coffee scrub for glutes, thighs and legs — and the night before sun, spray or skin-out anything.

  • Coffee + sugar + salt
  • Buffs texture
  • Pre-sun + spray-tan prep
  • Peppermint finish

How to use it

Before going out

A handful on damp skin in the shower — glutes, thighs, legs, wherever texture collects. Firm circles, then rinse well. Two or three times a week, and the night before a beach or spray-tan day. Never on freshly shaved skin. Alternate with ASSET rather than stacking them.

A man in a grey tank top sitting on the edge of a bed, city skyline through the window behind him.
A man in a navy tank top walking a city street in daylight, streetcar passing behind him.
A man in a grey tank top standing in a doorway, talking to someone out of frame.
A man in a white tank top on a wet street at night, bar lights behind him.

The long version

Every trip has a night-before, and every body knows the checklist: the playlist, the packing, the outfit audit — and the one step that separates the men who arrive glowing from the men who arrive merely present.

POLISH is that step: ground coffee, brown sugar and sea salt in coconut and castor oil, finished with peppermint. Seven ingredients, all food-grade. A handful on damp skin in the shower — glutes, thighs, the backs of the legs, everywhere texture hides from you and shows to everyone else — firm circles, rinse well. Rinse the floor too; the oils are treacherous.

The payoff is compound: smoother now, and everything after applies better — moisturiser, sun, spray tan, attention.

Discipline clause: two or three times a week, never on freshly shaved skin, never in the same session as ASSET. Scrubbed raw reads worse than untouched — smoother is the brief, not redder.

Tomorrow's body starts tonight. Pack accordingly.

Q&A

Can I scrub right after shaving?

No — freshly shaved skin is the one place it never goes. Otherwise two or three sessions a week, plus the evening before a beach day or a spray tan so the colour goes on even.

Where is it meant for?

Wherever texture builds — glutes, the backs of thighs, legs. Use it in the shower on wet skin with firm circles and rinse thoroughly. It alternates with ASSET; don't run both in one session.

Will the coffee grounds clog my drain?

A shower's worth rinses through fine — this is a 113 g jar, not a cafetière. Keep water running while you rinse and the plumbing will never know.

Will it help strawberry legs and the bumps on my arms?

It smooths the look of rough, bumpy texture — that's the honest cosmetic lane, and coffee grounds with oils are a classic tool for it. Keratosis pilaris itself is skin biology; a scrub manages its appearance, not its existence.

Is the peppermint tingle normal?

A clean tingle, yes — that's peppermint oil saying hello. Burning or lingering redness is your skin voting no: rinse, skip a few days, scrub gentler.

Where is it made?

In the USA — the manufacturer's country of record for this product.

08

Safety and warnings

External use only. Contains coconut oil and peppermint oil. Not for freshly shaved, broken or irritated skin. Avoid the eye area. Oils make the shower floor slippery — rinse it down. Do not use more than three times a week; over-scrubbing makes skin look worse, not smoother. Keep out of reach of children.
