Charcoal does not draw out toxins. It washes your face.
For the face that shines by noon.
Some faces are matte by nine and shining by noon, and no amount of blotting in a bathroom mirror fixes what the wash isn't doing. MATTE is activated charcoal and tea tree in an aloe base, for skin that runs oily or congests around the nose and chin — once a day, not twice.
This is the counterpart to CLEAN, not an upgrade of it. CLEAN is the gentle daily wash for normal to dry skin; MATTE is the one for shine. Most men need one, not both. Two things before you buy: it is 59 ml against CLEAN's 177, so at daily use it is weeks rather than months, and it contains tea tree, a common sensitiser — if your skin is reactive, CLEAN is the safer wash. And charcoal does not pull toxins out of your face, whatever the internet says. It is a mild adsorbent in a surfactant base, and the surfactant is doing most of the work.
A charcoal and tea tree face wash for oily or congested skin, used once a day rather than twice.

Once a day on wet skin, morning or evening. Massage in, rinse with warm water, avoid the eyes. Twice a day will strip an oily face as readily as a dry one.
Flash photography is not your friend. Somewhere between the second drink and the group photo, the T-zone starts broadcasting — and the flash finds it like it was paid to.
MATTE is lighting design at the sink: activated charcoal and tea tree in an aloe base, for the face that's matte at nine and reflective by noon. Once a day — twice strips an oily face as readily as a dry one, and stripped skin retaliates with more oil.
It's CLEAN's counterpart, not its upgrade: CLEAN for normal-to-dry, MATTE for shine. Most men need exactly one. Reactive skin should take CLEAN — tea tree is a common sensitiser, so patch-test first.
On the record: charcoal does not draw toxins out of your face. It's a mild adsorbent in a surfactant base, and the surfactant does most of the work. It washes your face well. That's the job, and it's enough.
59 ml — weeks, not months, priced accordingly. The camera can flash all it wants.
Once. Charcoal and tea tree are doing real work, and a second wash strips oily skin just as fast as dry — stripped skin answers by making more oil. Morning or evening, your call.
It's an aloe-based wash with coconut-derived cleansers — charcoal and tea tree do the work without a sulfate base. Keep it out of your eyes; the beard is fine.
Yes — charcoal and tea tree do well on beard-line skin and the itch that lives there. Work it in to the skin under the hair, rinse thoroughly, keep it out of your eyes.
Purging belongs to actives that speed cell turnover — retinoids, acids. A wash-off cleanser rarely qualifies; if MATTE causes new bumps, that's irritation, and the answer is backing off, not pushing through.
