Face card Ritual 07 — FACE CARD

Protect the face card

Three steps, ninety seconds, no spiritual awakening. The minimum effective skincare routine for men who sweat for a living.

The lighting you actually live under is hostile. Locker rooms, elevators, the front-facing camera at brunch, whatever is happening at 2 a.m. under a bare red bulb — none of it is doing you favours. The face card gets checked constantly and in worse conditions than any other asset you own. Protecting it is not vanity; it is asset management.

The good news is that the effective version of skincare is embarrassingly short. Cleanse, treat, seal. Ninety seconds, twice a day, no crystals.

Cleanse because sweat, sebum, sunscreen and city sit on your face like a day-old shirt. A gentle gel does the job without stripping you into tightness.

Treat is the step with the actives. Ours is a PDRN and peptide serum with hyaluronic support — lightweight, twice daily, built for hydrated, refreshed, more radiant-looking skin. At night, the retinol serum takes this slot instead and does its texture work while you sleep. (Retinol rules: night only, sunscreen in the daytime, and it sits out the routine if you might be pregnant — not our core demographic, but rules are rules.)

Seal because hydration you do not lock in evaporates on the walk to the gym. A fragrance-free peptide moisturizer closes the deal.

That is the entire ceremony. Do it consistently for a month, and let the unforgiving lighting find nothing to report.

The face card gets checked constantly, and in worse conditions than any other asset you own.
